Since Dec. 1, data shows nine Americans are dying from the coronavirus every five minutes, a rate that outpaces the soldiers that died in World War II. Underscoring this fact, the nation will soon pass 400,000 deaths and nine out of 10 Americans say the pandemic is out of control. But, two-thirds say they're willing to receive the vaccine. On the other hand, the rate of Black Americans getting vaccinated trails white Americans, and "scores" of health workers are refusing it.
