"It's complicated, but unfortunately so many people are falling foul of this - couple of hundred a day,” Mr Calder said during a BBC Breakfast interview today (27 March). Since Brexit, EU countries will not accept British passports which are more than 10 years old upon entry. Additionally, your passport needs to be at least three months away from its expiry date when leaving the EU.
